‘Juno’s Journey’ evolved from my own personal journey, most of which was conducted in the wonderful county of Northumberland. Meditations, reflections, journals and atunements occurred around the sacred sights. The photographs on my site are part of my journey. Lindisfarne, The Simonside hills, Cuthberts cave and Beadnell are all places where significant growth and healing occurred.
I have developed my own unique way of working with people. I have meditated for over 50 years, beginning with Transcendental Meditation, then discovered a Buddhist teacher who I worked with for many years.
Those of us on the pathway to self-mastery know, that life has a way of giving us experiences which make us continue to search. Some of these experiences are pleasant and wonderful and some are very painful. It does not really matter which, what is important that we use each one of them as a means to explore ourselves more.
When you are able to let go and allow life to take its own pace, then you move in to a place of empowerment. You no longer view life’s happenings from victim mode but move into an awareness that every event or person who makes an impact on you presents a gift for your healing. You then become more loving of yourself, trusting your intuition and instinct, living and expressing yourself exactly as you are.
Teaches stillness of body and mind
The art of being in the ‘now.’ Connects us to inner wisdom. Calms and soothes. It also perversely allows the mind chatter to have a field day! Allows aches and pains in the body to have a voice too! The practice is to develop an observer without comment or criticism.
There’s nothing to understand, nothing to change. Nothing to be.
Resting is just being and that’s enough
